THE
LORD'S POET
SCRIPTURAL BASIS FOR THIS MINISTRY
The
Parable of the Talents as found in Matt 25:14-30
You are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot
be hidden. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel,
but on a candlestick, and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Let your
light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify
your Father, who is in heaven.
(Matt
5:14-16 KJV)
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth,
give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be
afraid. (John 24:27 KJV)
The
Lord is nigh unto those who are of a broken heart and saveth such as be
of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous;
but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. (Psalms 34:18-19 KJV)
For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required; (Luke
12:48 KJV)
Let all things be done unto edifying.
(I
Cor 14:26b KJV)
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which
is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
(Eph 4:29 KJV)
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore
will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains
be carried into the midst of the sea. (Psalms 46:1-2 KJV)
Then
spoke Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world; he that
followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
(John
8:12 KJV)
