WHEREVER WE ARE
If we have just started
On the road of life;
If we've been traveling
For many years;
If we've never left
Or often strayed;
If we have neared the end
Of this path we're on,
Wherever we are in the journey
Is exactly where
God will join us
For the journey.

NOT SO BAD
Life often seems
To be less than we could wish;
Circumstances and situations
Are more than we would want;
Events happen that we seldom choose.
But if God walks the way with us,
It is not quite as bad
As on the surface it seems.
Events that happen,
Situations and Circumstances,
And life itself
Will not overwhelm us
If our trust and focus is God.

HELP
Broken, despised, rejected,
Pain fills your emptied heart.
You search for wholeness
In many ways and places
To find only more of the same.
Despised, rejected and broken,
Emptiness pains your lonely heart,
Seeking in groups or books
Help for your hurting life.
In trying to do it all yourself
You neglect on simple truth:
You cannot bypass Jesus
If you're seeking true health.

BIGGER
Life may be full
Of big issues
That leave you feeling
Small and useless,
Unable to face what comes;
Life may include
Situations beyond
Your abilities to cope;
Life could indeed contain
Circumstances you can't control.
But regardless of the issues
That you daily face;
Despite the situations
You see no hope of changing;
In spite of circumstances
You cannot control,
God is bigger.
